Toss Lab, Inc.won the QPrize at Startup battle in beGLOBAL Seoul 2015, which is given to the best startup company in Korea. beGLOBAL Seoul is Korea’s largest annual tech and startup conference.
Toss Lab is the provider of JANDI(www.jandi.com), a group-oriented messaging platform tailor-made for enterprises in Asia.
As the winner of QPrize, Jandi was named the “Best Startup in Korea” and also took home a $250,000 USD investment by Qualcomm Ventures in the form of convertible notes.
Also, Toss Lab will be invited to compete in the QPrize Grand Finals Competition against other regional finalists this September.
Other regional finalists selected from Japan, China, India, Israel, United States, and other parts of the world will compete for the title of “Best Startup in the World” and an additional$250,000 investment prize.
“This is a great opportunity for us to reconfirm the JANDI’s possibility. However, we won’t settle and not focusing on Global competition in September” Dan Chan, CEO of Toss Lab, said.
Toss Lab, raised $2.1 million of seed funding from Softbank Ventures, Chrerubic Ventures, and Dan Shin from Ticket Monster.
